Randy, the owner, is your inspector. He is a Certified Inspector
with ASHI, the American Society of Home Inspectors. His inspections
are performed in compliance with the ASHI Standards of Practice and
the State of Connecticut Standards of Practice (see documents). He
is also a member of CAHI, the Connecticut Association of Home
Inspectors. He has served as a member on the Board of Directors of
CAHI. His responsibilities for CAHI were to provide continuing
education classes for license renewal of the over 17,000 Real Estate
Agents and Real Estate Appraisers here in Connecticut. The materials
available to you under “Anatomy of a Home” and “Natural but Deadly”
are his class content. He is also a Certified Radon Placement
Specialist with the NRSB, the National Radon Safety Board. There are
no national organizations for mold, but he has completed
certification classes. Randy has an undergraduate degree from The
University of Utah and an MBA from Sacred Heart University.
Randy was raised in Darien, and has spent the last twenty five years
with his wife and family as residents of Trumbull. His early work
years were spent working for two billion dollar corporations in
various capacities. After which he owned a wholesale company, for 10
years in Danbury. He is an avid outdoors person having taught
skiing, camping and sailing.
